DSOTM Live! -- "Your First Time..."

This week we did our first attempt at a live stream... and here are the results.   Its always fun hearing from listeners about their experiences and can't wait to do it on a semi-irregular basis in the future!

This episode is about peoples first show experiences... and when they got bit by the Grateful Dead bug.  We had a lot of fun.  It's just under an hour, hope you enjoy it.

We WILL do some of these in the future, and it would be fun to hear from YOU!

 

DSOTM # 56 (Flashback) - 6/4/78

This month marks the 4 Year Anniversary of "Bob" becoming our full time co-host.  Having met "Bob" in line for tickets in 1993, he's been my buddy for years and always someone I turned to for my goofy curious nature about eras past... it seemed obvious to have him sit in with me on the podcast.  So, for this Flashback, we journey back to June of 2011, the first time that "Bob" came over and was my guest.   The show and the filler are pretty good too!

DSOTM # 23 (Flashback) - 11/2/77

This Flashback takes us North of the Border... into Canada, eh!  The Dead played an amazing run through the Northeast in the Fall of 77, and this fine matrix recording shows us that they kept it up when they went to the Great White North!  Bob made the selection, and sits in with us to talk about 1977 Dead.  Enjoy!

This months musical journey finds us in 1982.  Brent was gelled into the band at this point, and him and Jerry were furthering musical conversations forged in previous tours.   "Bob" stops by to discuss what a great weekend he had back in 1982, and Hunter Seamons gives another sample of how the recordings come together.   Dig it, I sure am!
